1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Anchor World, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Anchor World. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your login secure.
3. The service
Anchor World is a topic community platform. Features may include circles, posts, comments, connections, messaging, voice and video calls, Anchor Points, and paid subscriptions. Features may change as we improve the product.
4. Accounts
- One person, one account unless we expressly allow otherwise.
- You may not impersonate others or create accounts to evade bans.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our safety standards.
5. Community conduct
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or exploit others.
- Post illegal, hateful, sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Spam, scam, or attempt to manipulate points or referrals.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service.
- Use the app for dating solicitation framed as community abuse, or any purpose that violates law.
We may remove content and restrict accounts. Report concerns via in-app tools or support@anchorworld.org. See Child Safety Standards.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of content you post. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the service. You represent you have the rights to the content you upload.
7. Points, unlocks & purchases
- Anchor Points have no cash value and are a promotional/feature currency inside the app.
- Subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play (and related billing partners).
- Refunds are governed by the applicable store’s policies unless required otherwise by law.
- We may adjust point costs, rewards, or premium features with reasonable notice where practical.
8. Third-party services
The app may rely on third parties (hosting, notifications, payments, real-time calling such as Agora). Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that every user is who they claim to be.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anchor World and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.
11. Termination
You may stop using the app and request account deletion as described on our Account Deletion page. We may suspend or end access for violations, risk, or service discontinuation.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
